artap_studio — Background and Context

Independent authorial practice. Ukraine 76000. Est. 2010.

artap_studio is an independent visual authorial practice built around physical surface work, digital environments, and experimental visual systems.

The work is authored and continuously shaped by Andrii Popovych (Anri Artap) — a physical person and the sole author behind the system. It is not an agency, production company, or studio-for-hire structure.

The system operates across three interconnected internal directions under one authorial identity:

artap_studio
Physical surface transformation, aerography, custom paint, and material-based craft. The original and foundational layer of the practice.

and.axis.anyflow
Interactive digital environments, behavioral structures, adaptive layouts, and interface logic where code functions as a creative medium. This website is a direct execution of that approach.

lime.lab.set
Experimental visual development, render studies, manual and digital drafting, and advanced composition. AI tools are used selectively as an auxiliary instrument — absolute visual control and authorial direction remain with the creator throughout.

The practice is centered around transformation across physical, visual, and behavioral systems.

SYSTEM STRUCTURE

  • artap_studio — core system identity / authorial system
  • and.axis.anyflow — behavioral / digital
  • lime.lab.set — visual / experimental
artap_studio
≠ agency / ≠ studio-for-hire / ≠ one of many "ARTAP"

The core system identity and physical execution layer of the practice. Focused on aerography, custom paint, material transformation, and object-based visual work.

and.axis.anyflow
≠ app / ≠ software framework / ≠ startup platform

An internal conceptual direction focused on interactive digital behavior, interface systems, adaptive layouts, and structured visual interaction. Not a consumer software product or SaaS platform. The current website — its architecture, interface logic, and interaction structure — is a direct execution of the and.axis.anyflow direction.

lime.lab.set
≠ AI generator product / ≠ commercial service

An internal visual experimentation and research layer focused on render studies, digital composition, and visual exploration. Author-driven at every stage of the process.

“Method of manufacturing a protective coating”

Original registered title: «Спосіб виготовлення захисного покриття»

Utility Model Patent — 2012

Official Register Record

Registered in Ukraine by Andrii Popovych as an individual author and physical person — ≠ legal entity / ≠ company.

The patent represents the first formalized iteration of research into structural form-giving and surface design. Developed through physical practice, the method focuses on altering geometry and physical volume (e.g., in vehicle customization), where the redesigned outer layer inherently functions as a protective shield. The underlying concept has since been further developed beyond this initial version.
